The 4Th of July is mommy's favorite holiday, so she tries to squeeze in as much as possible on that day! We had a fun filled day! It first started with a parade down town Boise.

Dad is protecting Garrett's ears from the loud horns of the Semi Trucks. Garrett loves Big Trucks, but if they blow their horns it freaks him out!
Aah what a good big brother Trenton is to his little sister Abby.
After sitting in the hot sun for over an hour, it was time to cool off! The kids were very happy to play in the swimming pool, while mom got stuff ready for the BBQ.
Oh I love these three kids! Nothing like laying on the cement drive way to make you warm again!
Now time for the BBQ! We went to our friends Kat & Hannah for the rest of the evening. Aunt Candice was also there with us. she arrived in the late afternoon. BBQ is a must on the 4Th!

Now onto the Fireworks! Watch out Dads a pyro!
Aunt Candice was keeping Abby safe from the loud pops and Sparks of the fireworks. Abby wasn't to sure of them at first, but slowly warmed up to them.
Sparklers are a must! I love this picture of Trenton and Garrett! Kat bought the boys some fun hats to celebrate this fun day.
We finally got Abby to do a sparkler, with moms help.

We didn't end up going to a big firework display, because for the last several years the skies behind our house have been filled with them! This years was the best! Why fight the crowds when you get a wonderful display in your own backyard?
Your 4th of July looks like it was fun. We had a great time, too, but our kids would have loved to be with yours.
