The Christmas Tree and Village

Here is the end result of decorating the tree and the village. We didn't get any pictures of the kids actually decorating, but we all had fun!

Thanksgiving "09"

Papa Ray and Grandma Tracy came to our house for Thanksgiving this year. We all had a good time. I must say though, that it's definitely a lot of cooking for 15 minutes of eating!
Abby was loving all the attention that she was getting.
Daddy, Trenton and Garrett maxing and relaxing.
Abby warmed right up to Papa.

Disneyland November 16th - 19th

Wow it's been a while since I've blogged so bare with me! We took a family vacation to Disneyland in November. We drove from Boise to SLC, Utah on Saturday November the 14TH. We stayed the night at Grandpa and Grandma Wilkey's house and got up early Sunday morning to finish the drive to California. The 11 hour drive ended up being around 15 hours!!! Needless to say we were all very happy to be out of the van! We met my little sister Amy and her family and my Mom and my older sister Candice there.
The picture below was taken in the main lobby of our hotel, The Paradise Pier.
The is a picture taken from our room. We had a great view of California Adventure.
Our kids had so much cooped up energy that we decided to take them to Downtown Disney to walk around. The first store that we walked through was Lego Land.
Trenton and Garrett were in Lego Heaven!
We went to Disneyland on the 16Th, 17Th, and 18Th.
This was the first time I had been to Disneyland at Christmas time. It was so beautiful! Everything is completely decked out in Christmas.
Trenton and Garrett hurried and snuck a picture with Eeyore. He was on his way back to his picture spot and the kids grabbed him. It was kinda nice. The lines for pictures with the characters were really long.
Abby was so excited to see the Princess's. We waited in line for over an hour! She really wanted to see Cinderella & Jasmin. When you turn the corner to see them it's like a slot machine. You get to see who ever is not on break at the time. I was a little sad for her. She didn't even care to see Princess Mulan. At first Abby wouldn't let Mulan sign her autograph book, but we finally got Abby to let her sign it.
The kids in front of Minnie Mouse's house with Minnie.
Chris really wanted a picture of Abby kissing the Cheshire Cat, but the one we took with her kissing it was blurry.
JEDI TRAINING! This was probably one of the biggest highlights for Trenton at Disneyland. This was the first thing we did when we got to Disneyland. Trenton was so excited that he got picked.
Darth Vader and Darth Maul came out of a platform from under ground. It was pretty cool.
This picture is of Trenton's cousin Brendon. He was fighting Darth Maul.
Here's Trenton fighting Darth Vader. Go Trenton!
Storm Troopers
This was the Jedi Master that led the kids in the training. Trenton and Brendon are standing together just below the Jedi Master.
Abby loves water! She loved this big water ball!
So did Trenton and Garrett.
The Fairy Godmother was the first character that was saw. Abby was not going to get to close.
Here are the kids with Winnie The Pooh. Abby was so cute. She kept grabbing Poohs neck to kiss him. When it was time to leave, Pooh Bear blew Abby kisses. The Winnie The Pooh ride was Abby's favorite. We took her on it 3 times.
The kids had a good time seeing all the characters. Abby was excited to see Tiger, but when we got next to him, it scared her a little.
Donald Duck was the main character that Garret wanted to see. We finally got a picture with him on our last day.
Here is Abby with Baloo at Goofy's Kitchen. We had reservations for Tuesday the 17TH. It also happened to be Amy's birthday. It was fun because several of the characters walked around and would come to our table for pictures with the kids. My kids favorite part was that since it was Goofy's Kitchen, they got to eat whatever they wanted for breakfast. You name it they had it. (Hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, smoked salmon, cookies, cakes and then they had normal breakfast stuff).
Garrett loves Chip and Dale, so he was so excited to see them!
Here's Goofy with my kids.
This was a model car right outside of Goofy's kitchen. Abby loved being the driver.
Here we are at the main entrance to Disneyland.
We love Mickey!
Disneyland was so beautiful at night time. Here are a few pictures of some of the attractions decorated with Christmas lights.
Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
Small World
The Haunted Mansion was all decked out with the Nightmare before Christmas. Our kids love that movie. Chris had to have a picture of "Jack Skeleton".
California Adventure! It's hard to see, but Trenton and Garrett are Standing below the N.

Garrett thought this was a pretty cool Statue. As you can see he looks like and ant next to it.
Garrett and Abby with Mater and Lightning McQueen
Grandma Sue and our Family standing at the Hollywood back wall.

Finally Halloween Pictures!

Wow we did lots of fun things for Halloween. On Friday morning, we had some friends come to our house for a little Halloween party. We did some spooky crafts and had yummy treats. My pictures didn't turn out so well, so I did not post any. Later that night we went to our friends the Giles trunk or treat. See below. The kids had a lot of fun. I was glad that Abby got to wear her sunflower costume. I bought it last year for this year and she really wanted to be a lion. So she was a sunflower one day and a lion the next. My little Sunflower, Army Guy and Snake.
We went trick or treating with Angela and her kids in our neighborhood. Trenton is a Snake,Tate is Harry Potter, Londyn is Ariel, Ty was a Dragon, Abby is a Lion and Garrett is an Army guy. The night first started with all of us going to a Friends baptism. We then went to Angela's house to change and then on to the trick or treating!
This was a group shot in Angela's neighborhood. We stared trick or treating in her neighborhood and then went to one of our friends Halloween party and then headed to our neighborhood to hit a few of our friends.
Angela stayed home to pass out treats in her neighborhood. She filled bags for the kids since she wasn't going to get many trick or treater's. Abby loved trick or treating!

School Halloween Parties

Thursday October 29TH was the boy's school parties. There was no school on Friday so they did the parties early. This was a fun day for the boys. Daddy decided he didn't want to go to work that day, so that meant he got to go with mom and Abby to the parties. Trenton was a Snake and Garrett went as an Army Guy. The Principal at the school is really into Halloween and has the whole school do a parade. It was really fun to see all the kids in their costumes. Here is Trenton with his Teacher Mrs. Bond
Garrett loved showing daddy his classroom.
What a handsome snake!

What an Army guy!
