Race for the Cure

The Race for the Cure was on Saturday May 9Th. I had the opportunity to participate along with over 15,000 people. I walked with my friend Kat and her daughter Hannah. We signed up with my friend Sarah's group "Friends of Fighters". I also brought Abby along with me for the walk. She got to ride in the stroller. Abby seemed a little amazed by all the people. Kat, Hannah and I just after we finished the race.

Mommy and Abby. My friend Sarah made Abby's shirt. She made shirts for her kids and thought it would be cute if they all matched.

Hannah, Abby and Kat. Abby was trying to share her animal cookies with everyone around her. Abby really did do good for being in her stroller as long as she was!

Happy Birthday Abby!

On May 1st Abigail Shiree Wilkey turned 2! Wow I cannot believe that my baby is now 2! What a joy she is to our family! She can be really girly but can definitely hold her own especially when it comes to her brothers! Abby loves to shop for clothes. Her favorites are Levi's and Shoes! Every morning when I go to get her dressed she says "momma I wear eevi's" if I put something else on her, it's a sure thing you will find them lying on the floor soon after! She is also picky about what shoes she wears. Aunt Candice likes to think that Abby takes after her love for shoes.
If you ask Abby how old she is, she will tell you free (3). Oh I don't want her to grow up to fast! A few other high lights about Abby is she loves to help you with whatever you are doing. She also loves birdies! Every morning when she eats her breakfast we have to open the blinds so she can see the birdies. Last, but not least she loves to tickle herself. When she is naked she will take her fingers lightly across her belly and say gickle, gickle, gickle!
Abigail, we love you so much and are so blessed to have you in our family!
It's cupcake time!

Abby is enjoying the frosting a little to much!

Hello! Abby got her own Disney cell phone for her birthday. Kat and Hannah gave her a few things that they thought little girls need to have. They also included a set of play keys and a few other things.

Yeah! Abby got a little princess kitchen set. She loves to play pretend! She has a little tea set that is played with on a daily basis! I'm glad she will have a few more options. I love all the cakes and cookies she makes me!

Where is Abby? While we were putting together Abby's kitchen, she disappeared into the living room. It was to quite so we looked over and noticed that she had climbed into the kitchen box. When we said Where is Abby, she started to giggle.

Soccer Fun!

It's Soccer time again! This season we signed both of the boys up. Trenton is still with the same team for his 3rd season and we signed Garrett up with a low key league that some friends put together. It has definitely been a cold season!Look at the concentration on his face!

Trenton trying to keep warm while waiting for his turn on the field.

Garrett really wanted to play soccer this year, so we signed him up. He has probably played a total of 15 minutes out of six games. He warms up with the team just fine, but when it comes time to play he gets so nervous with everyone watching that he walks off the field. We are still proud of him for trying!

Dad got Garrett to play a little bit as long as he ran a long side of him.

Mowing The Lawn

Abby loves to mimic just about everything she sees. Chris went into the garage to get the lawn mower and Abby saw what he was doing. She ran up to me and said Abby mow. So I went and got out her bubble mower. She loved working right along side with her dad!

Fire Station Field Trip

Garrett's pre-school class went to the fires station for a field trip. Abby and I got to tag a long. It's so cute to see the kids excitement when they get to be right next to a real fire truck! This is Garrett's cute pre-school class.

Garrett and Abby were listening very carefully to what the fire man was saying. Actually I think they were a little nervous, because he was wearing his oxygen mask.

Abby couldn't wait to have her turn to sit in the fire truck. Garrett on the other hand didn't want anything to do with it! He's our shy little guy. I know hard to believe!

Here's Abby sliding down the fire pole. She's not afraid to try anything!

Happy Easter!

So I guess I am a little late getting the pictures posted and blogged about. I figure it's better later than never! These pictures were taken the day before Easter. The bunny comes to our house on Saturday.
Abby, Trenton and Garrett were excited to see their baskets! They had to check out all the good stuff in them before they went egg hunting.

Trenton checking out all his new found treasures!

Garrett was so excited to find so many eggs!

This was Abby's first easter to hunt eggs. She caught on pretty quickly! She was really excited when one of the eggs popped open and candy fell on the floor!

Dying eggs for Easter

Grandpa and Grandma Wilkey came to visit Easter weekend. The kids had a good time dying the eggs. I think they could have dyed several dozen if we would have let them. Abby liked dropping the eggs in the dye. Trenton and Garrett had a good time mixing up the colors. The only problem with dying all those eggs is what do you do with them? You can only eat so many hard boiled eggs! We did make egg salad sandwiches. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Wilkey for coming to see us!

While dad's was away we went to play!

While dad was at the Priesthood session the kids and I went to a friends house to feed there baby calf. His name is baby Hughes. He is so cute! The kids had a really good time. Man was baby Hughes aggressive with that bottle! Trenton could hold the bottle by himself, but Garrett and Abby needed a little help.
